Killer Chickpea Flatbread


1 cup gram or chickpea flour

1 cup luke warm water

1/2 tsp baking powder or bicarb of soda

1/2 tsp sea salt

3 tbsp oil or melted butter

Mix all ingredients thoroughly until a smooth batter is achieved then set aside to sit for 30 minutes, this creates a creamier texture and better bind.
Heat the oven to 200C and using either a silicone baking dish or baking paper briefly oil the surface and pour in the batter to approximately 3/4 of a centimetre deep. Depending on the size of the baking dish it will take between 15-35 minutes. Once done remove and either enjoy immediately or cool on a rack, slice and store wrapped in a cotton or linen cloth. To reheated simply toast as you would normal bread.
