RECIPES FOR LOW CALORIE HIGH NUTRIENT MEALS
Easy one pan steamed salmon with broccoli
Ready in 12 minutes
Serves 2 people
- 2 pieces of 100g salmon fillets
- 2 cloves of garlic, grated or crushed
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp honey
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 4 cups spinach
- 200g bean sprouts
- In a large pan with a lid place the broccoli, bean sprouts, spring onions, garlic and 4 tbsp water on a medium heat and cover. Allow to cook for 3 minutes before adding first the spinach, then place the salmon fillets over then drizzle the soy sauce, then the honey and then the sesame oil and replace the lid. Allow it to cook for a further 6-7 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.
- Enjoy with a squeeze of lemon if you fancy.
